The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Balja BK's Ingmar Stålberg got control of the ball when Sivert Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 5 minutes, Nils Andersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balja BK and the Harsenal AIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Sivert Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Balja BK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leonard Lenberg hit a great ball. Torsten Lundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ingmar Stålberg. Balja BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aaron Odin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ingmar Stålberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harsenal AIS. Balja BK's Ingmar Stålberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Balja BK from getting a goal against them. Jerry Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harsenal AIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Torsten Lundström in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Fred Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Malm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Malm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Askstedt in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Askstedt was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Balja BK defense, Sivert Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingmar Stålberg. The Balja BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingmar Stålberg should have stopped the shot. Harsenal AIS made a substitution. Sivert Lindholm replaced Sivert Vedholm. Jens-Ove Lindqvist hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ingmar Stålberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Ove Lindqvist went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sivert Axelsson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingmar Stålberg. Ingmar Stålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 86th minute, Torsten Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Fred Askstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jan Malm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Jens-Ove Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sivert Axelsson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Sivert Axelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ingmar Stålberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harsenal AIS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
