Jens-Åke Wallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Malm having to interfere. Patrik Bolin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Sivert Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Tullinge IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Holm to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jens-Ove Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harsenal AIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Bolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Bolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Matthias Holm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tullinge IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harsenal AIS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Harsenal AIS's Sivert Axelsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes Harsenal AIS got a freekick which was hit by Christer Kvalfält. In the 37th minute of the match Hubert Vennersten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Malm skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Axelsson got free with Patrik Bolin in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Anselius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harsenal AIS made a substitution. Sivert Lindholm replaced Sivert Vedholm. 3-0 became the score in the 70th minute when Jens-Ove Lindqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Harsenal AIS booed when Tullinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Bagge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Jens-Åke Anselius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harsenal AIS's Jan Malm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Tullinge IK got a corner. Harsenal AIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hubert Vennersten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tullinge IK's Hubert Vennersten to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Malm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jens-Åke Anselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jens-Åke Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 97 minutes into the match, Tullinge IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Axelsson came free, but Patrik Bolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
