In the 7th minute Aaron Alkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Dusett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sören Bure came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harry Hedvall could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Burman during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulf Burman hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 27th play minutes Filiph Björck shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Harry Hedvall and just under the crossbar into goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by Sören Bure from a close distance when the talented Harry Hedvall managed to make a qualified save. Mölndal FC's players were relieved. Aaron Alkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marko Sandell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Dusett might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marko Sandell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Dusett ran back to his position shaking his head. Marko Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alinder IK's Marko Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Burman in the 43rd minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Mölndal FC's Ulf Burman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marko Sandell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Alkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Olov Dusett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marko Sandell having to make a save. If Ulf Burman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alinder IK's zone, Olov Dusett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Sandell came out of the goal and Olov Dusett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulf Burman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Sandell having to interfere. Ulf Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Olov Dusett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölndal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Dusett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Sandell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, Alinder IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Alinder IK got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Skark. Olov Dusett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Sandell having to interfere. Marko Sandell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Dusett in the 95th minute. Gustav Nordmark kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Olov Dusett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alinder IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mölndal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
