Robert Sjödin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Jan Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Richard Lange had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Odin. Ryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Lange was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. John Kielstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Joseph Bröms made a huge save. Joseph Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Almstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Korsband's Richard Lange got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Odin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Axelsson in the 13th minute of play. Robert Sjödin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jan Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Richard Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Filip Bammerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Korsband fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Filip Bammerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Odin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Bammerman ran back to his position shaking his head. The FC Korsband fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when FC Korsband's Birger Axelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filip Bammerman scored 0-7 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Odin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Birger Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Bammerman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Odin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ryd's zone, Richard Lange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Odin came out of the goal and Richard Lange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half FC Korsband were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Bammerman to strike the kick off in the second half. Arman Bure hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Filip Bammerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 72nd minute, Richard Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Birger Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Odin having to interfere. Richard Lange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Odin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Filip Bammerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Korsband's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Bammerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Sjödin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Odin having to make a save. Ryd's Jan Odin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ryd from getting a goal against them. Filip Bammerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Odin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Bammerman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Birger Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryd's Jan Odin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ryd from getting a goal against them. Robert Sjödin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jan Odin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Korsband. In the 96th minute, FC Korsband's Robert Sjödin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robert Sjödin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Korsband protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robert Sjödin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Ryd booed when FC Korsband was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Sjödin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Borre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
