After a defensive mix-up in Jämjö IFK's zone, Patrik Forsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Alkvist came out of the goal and Patrik Forsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrik Alkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Forsberg in the 12th minute of the match. Patrik Alkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Frank Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Böle Boulevard and the Jämjö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes FC Böle Boulevard got a freekick which was hit by Frank Samuelsson. With a little luck, FC Böle Boulevard's Sven Grönberg got control of the ball when Åke Rosen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Rosen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Sven Grönberg made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Rosen got free with Sven Grönberg in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jämjö IFK's Patrik Alkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Samuelsson in the 30th minute of play. If Frank Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 minutes of play, FC Böle Boulevard's Frank Samuelsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Alkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Frank Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Alkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Samuelsson went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Patrik Forsberg took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Alkvist. Patrik Alkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Rosen to make the kick off. Jämjö IFK's Patrik Alkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Jämjö IFK from getting a goal against them. Frank Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Patrik Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Forsberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Patrik Alkvist 64 minutes into the match. If Patrik Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frank Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Böle Boulevard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Patrik Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
