Jonny Zachrisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Anton Smefeldt made a huge save. Robert Lagerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Göteborg FC defense, Marcus Sundén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Majman. The Göteborg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Majman should have stopped the shot. Jonny Zachrisson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 23rd playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Hägert in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Majman saved Göteborg FC from getting behind. The Göteborg FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Göteborg FC's Joakim Rolandsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bengt Granström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Smefeldt made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jonny Zachrisson sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Rolandsson made a kick off. Joakim Rolandsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göteborg FC's Jonatan Majman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Göteborg FC from getting a goal against them. Marcus Sundén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jonatan Majman made a huge save. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Göteborg FC! Marcus Sundén shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Göteborg FC booed when Mora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Sundén got free with Jonatan Majman in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joakim Rolandsson took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Smefeldt. Anton Smefeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 96th match minute, Mora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Hägert to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
