Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joakim Rolandsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gnosjöasd's Leo Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Rolandsson in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Jonny Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göteborg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonny Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Kent Damm with Mathias Bålström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bengt Granström scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Eliasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Joakim Rolandsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Bo Jönsätt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Allan Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnosjöasd's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Högberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Majman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Joakim Rolandsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Eliasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jonatan Majman made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tobias Ström sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Göteborg FC's zone, Tobias Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Majman came out of the goal and Tobias Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ivar Rolandsson fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnosjöasd's protests and gave Ivar Rolandsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Gnosjöasd got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Rolandsson. Leo Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Rolandsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Joakim Rolandsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gnosjöasd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Göteborg FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Rolandsson was the one to do the kick off. Leo Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonny Zachrisson in the 53rd minute. Bengt Granström might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Eliasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt Granström ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tobias Ström came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gnosjöasd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Ström couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Gnosjöasd's Leo Eliasson got control of the ball when Jonny Zachrisson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joakim Rolandsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Eliasson. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. Göteborg FC's Joakim Rolandsson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Göteborg FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jörn Haeger hit a great ball. The supporters of Göteborg FC booed when Gnosjöasd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Nordmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dan Nordlund came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gnosjöasd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Nordlund couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Tobias Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Majman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göteborg FC played a much better game than Gnosjöasd and deserved their victory. The Gnosjöasd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
