Kenneth Ersman hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With his leg Peter Sikström managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Sakumo's Herman Nyström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 4th minute, Fredrik Arenstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes, Herman Nyström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sakumo and the St. Mellansjö FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Arne Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Sven-Arne Apelqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arne Rolandsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mats Åhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Sikström having to interfere. Peter Sikström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bengt Kellman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. St. Mellansjö FC's Peter Sikström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save St. Mellansjö FC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, St. Mellansjö FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Arenius came free, but Peter Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, St. Mellansjö FC's goalkeeper Peter Sikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Nyström. In the 31st minute, Sakumo's Bengt Kellman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Sikström. Peter Sikström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Peter Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Sigfridsson in the 35th minute of the match. Herman Nyström struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Peter Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakumo. Peter Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Kellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Herman Nyström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Sikström came out and tried to block the shot, but Herman Nyström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Herman Nyström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Peter Sikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Åhlberg went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mats Åhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Sikström having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Sakumo's Bengt Kellman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Sikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 69th minute, Börje Svanström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Arne Apelqvist during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes St. Mellansjö FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Apelqvist. 73 minutes into the game, Sakumo's Bengt-Åke Tunberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Sikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Mats Åhlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Sikström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Åhlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Herman Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Sven-Arne Apelqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Mellansjö FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Arne Apelqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herman Nyström took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Sikström. Peter Sikström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Peter Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Kellman in the 89th minute of play. Peter Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Kellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Sakumo's goalkeeper Arne Rolandsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Arne Apelqvist. After some careless play in the St. Mellansjö FC defense, Bengt Kellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Sikström. The St. Mellansjö FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Sikström should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sakumo fully deserved thier win.
