Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conny Låsberg started the match with the kick off. Tobias Ström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börje Ahlkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Dan Nordlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Börje Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Kvicksund Elite Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Leo Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Nordin in the 11th minute. Leo Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Låsberg in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gnosjöasd's Marcus Nordmark got a free kick in the 14th minute. Börje Ahlkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Nordmark in the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Gnosjöasd's Tobias Ström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Ahlkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tobias Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Ström in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Ahlkvist saved Kvicksund Elite Academy from getting behind. If Dan Nordlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Ström to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Ström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börje Ahlkvist. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Ström in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Ahlkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gnosjöasd's Tobias Ström suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 61 minutes of play Kvicksund Elite Academy's Vilhelm Eliasson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gnosjöasd's Jörn Lindsten was substituted for Tobias Ström. The supporters of Gnosjöasd booed when Kvicksund Elite Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Dan Nordlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnosjöasd's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Nordlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Ahlkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Kvicksund Elite Academy getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Victor Boberg hit a great ball. Mathias Bålström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Börje Ahlkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Allan Högberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Börje Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Dan Nordlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gnosjöasd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Nordlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Börje Ahlkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Lindsten in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Jörn Lindsten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börje Ahlkvist was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Dan Nordlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Ahlkvist having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, David Beckman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnosjöasd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvicksund Elite Academy the free kick. In the 83rd minute, David Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emil Ånger hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jörn Lindsten kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 91stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kvicksund Elite Academy's keeper Börje Ahlkvist was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Börje Ahlkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Lindsten in the 94th minute of play. Gnosjöasd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
