Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Otto Dahlman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gottfrid Håkansson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Åke Bolander. Horna IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anders Gabrielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Horna IF's Börge Ros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Ove Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Tham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Bolander having to interfere. Jan-Ove Lindström came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Horna IF's Börge Ros. But to his dismay, Börge Ros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Börge Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Lindström having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Jon Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horna IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Tham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Siljansnäs's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Lindström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börge Ros. The audience was convinced that Jon Tham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Lindström was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Jon Tham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Börge Ros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jan-Ove Lindström made a huge save. If Börge Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Tham to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Charles Larsfält notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Siljansnäs's Jan-Ove Lindström. Jan-Ove Lindström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gottfrid Håkansson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Tham in the 64th minute of play forced Siljansnäs's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malte Åström hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Siljansnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Ros came free, but Jan-Ove Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siljansnäs's Jan-Ove Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Larsfält in the 71st minute of play. Börge Ros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Lindström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jon Tham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Lindström was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. If Henning Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börge Ros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Ove Lindström having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Horna IF's Henning Holm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 minutes of play, Horna IF's Jon Tham made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Ove Lindström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Peder Eskilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Börge Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Persson got free with Karl-Åke Bolander in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Horna IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
