Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LBBK's Gustaf Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vetlanda's Simon Felin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Vetlanda's Jörgen Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Stensson in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Vetlanda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bengt-Åke Strömqvist who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bengt-Åke Strömqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vetlanda's Jörgen Söderström did a great save. Jan-Erik Sandberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jörgen Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Stensson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Tom Häger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gösta Tönnberg made a huge save. When LBBK's Alfred Stensson in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vetlanda's goalie prevented a goal. Gustaf Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Söderström having to interfere. Tom Häger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gösta Tönnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Gustaf Fransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LBBK and the Vetlanda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Gustaf Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Jan-Erik Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Tönnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Stensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Stensson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Söderström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Vetlanda getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jan Jonasson hit a great ball. After 61 minutes, Alfred Stensson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vetlanda's Jörgen Söderström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65thth minute of the game Michael Grönberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LBBK's Gösta Tönnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Gustaf Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vetlanda fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Vetlanda's Michael Grönberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 71 minutes, Tom Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetlanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Häger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Häger in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Tönnberg saved LBBK from getting behind. Jörgen Söderström was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Gustaf Fransson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LBBK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
