Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Michael Grönberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute, Aleksander Persson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Otto Dahlman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Söderström was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Jan-Ove Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Grönberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 18 minutes, Aleksander Persson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siljansnäs and the Vetlanda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vetlanda booed when Siljansnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Spetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Grönberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. The Vetlanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Grönberg in the 97th minute of play forced Siljansnäs's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Siljansnäs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vetlanda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
