Åke Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute of the match We Love Mondays got a corner. Aguardiente Antioqueño's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Josefsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led We Love Mondays's Sven Nordlander to fire away a dangerous shot which Åke Askstedt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lenny Kibsgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Johannes Torstensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Shepherd in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Adam Rutledge notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of We Love Mondays's Johannes Torstensson. Johannes Torstensson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johannes Torstensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiph Bjursell's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Alf Norberg scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Askstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute of the match Sven-Olof Berglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Askstedt skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Aguardiente Antioqueño getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Anastasio Shepherd hit a great ball. Fredrik Pilgren charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Pilgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. We Love Mondays's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Broman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiph Bjursell in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Torstensson saved We Love Mondays from getting behind. Aguardiente Antioqueño's Åke Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Olsson in the 46th minute of play. Åke Askstedt made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Bertil Berg sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiph Bjursell made a kick off. Filiph Bjursell scored 1-4 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Torstensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiph Bjursell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Aguardiente Antioqueño's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Olsson came free, but Åke Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Tomas Olsson notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Aguardiente Antioqueño's Åke Askstedt. When Stig Åström fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguardiente Antioqueño's protests and gave Stig Åström a yellow card for diving instead. If Alf Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aguardiente Antioqueño's Karl-Axel Dahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Olsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of We Love Mondays booed when Aguardiente Antioqueño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aguardiente Antioqueño played a much better game than We Love Mondays and deserved their victory. The We Love Mondays players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
