The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sten Lövskog took the kick off in the first half of the match. Casper Sikström took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Petersson. Ian Petersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Malcolm Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Lövskog in the 7th minute of play. Ian Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Vesterberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Olov Ström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Malcolm Rudkvist. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Stockholm BK's Malcolm Rudkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm BK from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Stockholm BK's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Ström came free, but Malcolm Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klitor IS's Ian Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson in the 21st minute of play. Jörgen Mattsson charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörgen Mattsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Casper Sikström made a precise shot to the right of Ian Petersson. Klitor IS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Stockholm BK's Anton Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Sikström in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With 40 minutes on the clock, Patrik Trulsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Stockholm BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Klitor IS:s goal. The referee gave Klitor IS a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hans Vester, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stockholm BK's Malcolm Rudkvist. 2-3. After some careless play in the Stockholm BK defense, Jörgen Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malcolm Rudkvist. The Stockholm BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcolm Rudkvist should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd match minute, Klitor IS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Bröms to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Stockholm BK's Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Klitor IS's Ian Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Sikström in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Klitor IS's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Sikström came free, but Ian Petersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Olov Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Rudkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexander Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ian Petersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Vesterberg in the 70th minute. Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Petersson was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Casper Sikström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Casper Sikström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. In the 84th minute Casper Sikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Rudkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Ström went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Stockholm BK's Malcolm Rudkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Mattsson in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Olov Ström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcolm Rudkvist. Stockholm BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Ström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. Ian Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Vesterberg in the 98th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Klitor IS could leave the field as winners, despite Stockholm BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
