Allan Bäck came out of the goal and Tomas Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Bertil Berg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bertil Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Torstensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Eriksson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Holmgren in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Torstensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sten Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. We Love Mondays's Johannes Torstensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Eriksson in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Eriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Fredrik Pilgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Berg in the 60th minute of play forced Fritsla's goalkeeper Allan Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Tomas Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. We Love Mondays's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Olsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Fritsla got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Wikander. The supporters of We Love Mondays booed when Fritsla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Wikander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Kevin Josefsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fritsla's Allan Bäck didn't even have to move. If Tomas Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Torstensson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Berg in the 86th minute of play forced Fritsla's goalkeeper Allan Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Nyqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Kevin Josefsson in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Allan Bäck's left hand side. Oscar Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tomas Olsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Bäck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Olsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
