The supporters of Vargön IFK booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Larsfelt having to interfere. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tor Josefsson sped through Vargön IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesper Larsfelt. Oliver Bergfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Magnusson in the 18th minute of the match. When Alex Söderkvist came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Vargön IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Söderkvist couldn't finish the play. Karl-Magnus Axelsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Max Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Nykvarn's Max Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesper Larsfelt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 32nd minute Tor Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Larsfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Jon Matsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Nykvarn fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Nykvarn's Jon Matsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute Jon Matsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Larsfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Tor Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nykvarn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes of play, Nykvarn's Tor Josefsson made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesper Larsfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Vargön IFK's Karl-Magnus Axelsson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Max Persson hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Törnkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute Tor Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Larsfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Matsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jesper Larsfelt made a huge save. In the 59th minute, one of Vargön IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vargön IFK. Jesper Larsfelt had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Pontus Tunström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 62 minutes into the game, Pontus Tunström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Jesper Larsfelt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Blanck made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vargön IFK's Kjell Abrahamsson. 68 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Forsman came free, but Oliver Bergfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Persson in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Evert Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vargön IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nykvarn the free kick. After 77 minutes, Marko Törnkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykvarn and the Vargön IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Marko Törnkvist. Max Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jesper Larsfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor Josefssons short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Jesper Larsfelt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt got control of the ball when Jon Matsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesper Larsfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Max Persson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Jon Matsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Jesper Larsfelt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nykvarn played a much better game than Vargön IFK and deserved their victory. The Vargön IFK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
