The Vargön IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Larsfelt should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Aguardiente Antioqueño getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anastasio Shepherd hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 97 played minutes, Aguardiente Antioqueño's Anastasio Shepherd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesper Larsfelt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aguardiente Antioqueño reached it.
