Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Söderkvist in the 3rd minute of play forced Fritsla's goalkeeper Allan Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Bäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Magnusson in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Karl-Magnus Axelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vargön IFK and the Fritsla players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fritsla booed when Vargön IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Vargön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Eriksson came free, but Jesper Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Bäck made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Patrik Dalström sent off a good shot on target. Allan Bäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Östman in the 22nd minute. Nils Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Bäck having to interfere. Åke Forsman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allan Bäck having to make a save. Krister Brun charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krister Brun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The referee gave Fritsla a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jan-Olof Bergsten, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt. 1-1. Jesper Larsfelt made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fredrik Holmgren sent off a good shot on target. Sten Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jesper Larsfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th play minute Dick Petersson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jesper Larsfelt. 1-2. Oscar Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fritsla's Sten Eriksson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt got control of the ball when Fredrik Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Fritsla getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dick Petersson hit a great ball. Åke Forsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Bäck having to interfere. Fritsla's Fredrik Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vargön IFK's goalkeeper Jesper Larsfelt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vargön IFK's Jesper Larsfelt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Vargön IFK from getting a goal against them. Fritsla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
