In the 35th minute John Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Gabrielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If John Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Birger Bagge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Birger Bagge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Juringe FC's Sverker Gabrielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Juringe FC from getting a goal against them. If John Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Juringe FC were the better team. Juringe FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
