With an all-out effort, Genesarets sjö Fc's Sven-Oskar Smed threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hubert Hedbom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th match minute, Gräddhyllan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Genesarets sjö Fc getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gustaf Walmarsson hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Alexander Håkansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Oskar Smed. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Dalgren in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Åström saved Genesarets sjö Fc from getting behind. Hubert Hedbom hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hubert Hedbom made a kick off. The Gräddhyllan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Smed should have stopped the shot.
