Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nils-Erik Strömberg kicked off to start the match. The referee ignored Eksjö IFK's protests and gave Victor Linqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 minutes, Leonard Melander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eksjö IFK and the Juringe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eksjö IFK's Leonard Melander got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Juringe FC's goalkeeper Sverker Gabrielsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Melander. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Sverker Gabrielsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Juringe FC's Sverker Gabrielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Juringe FC from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute John Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Gabrielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Gabrielsson was a little too slow when John Lind got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Josef Falkrantz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Josef Ahlquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juringe FC. 27 minutes into the match, Joakim Hermansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sverker Gabrielsson. Juringe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nils-Erik Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Olof Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juringe FC's Sverker Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Linqvist in the 38th minute of play. Sverker Gabrielsson made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Joakim Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Nils-Erik Strömberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josef Ahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 47 played minutes Juringe FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Lindholm. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Lind to make the kick off. Jan-Olof Hallgren hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Sverker Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Josef Ahlquist came out of the goal and Josef Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Olof Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Eksjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Dahlman to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Juringe FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Lind came free, but Sverker Gabrielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that John Lind's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverker Gabrielsson was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Sverker Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Hermansson in the 95th minute of play. Juringe FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Eksjö IFK had won, even though Juringe FC had held more of the ball.
