Walter Sundberg's late challenge caught a Karlshamns AAK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Sundberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Linghed getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Walter Sundberg hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Lövkvist during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Greger Hammarberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Linus Skröder. The goal made the score 1-0. Conny Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linus Skröder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Greger Hammarberg's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes Karlshamns AAK got a freekick which was hit by Harry Rydberg. After some careless play in the Linghed defense, Conny Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Linus Skröder. The Linghed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Linus Skröder should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boris Sefastsson made a kick off. In the 55th minute Boris Sefastsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milian Villaseñor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karlshamns AAK booed when Linghed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Greger Hammarberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Linus Skröder was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Karlshamns AAK had played much better football throughout.
