Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robin Fernkvist started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Azemis FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Dan Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Nordmark having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Per-Arne Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azemis FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Viklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joacim Erserman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Rune Skager sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sverker Nordmark skillfully saved the ball. Joacim Erserman's late challenge caught a Katrineholm IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joacim Erserman helped the player get up and apologised. Sverker Nordmark went to the wrong direction when Rune Skager was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Azemis FF's Robin Fernkvist in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katrineholm IF's goalie prevented a goal. Ludvig Strand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Fernkvist in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Azemis FF's Robin Fernkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludvig Strand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Katrineholm IF's Ludvig Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Bergqvist in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Katrineholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jansson came free, but Ludvig Strand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Svanér kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Roger Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Katrineholm IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mathias Hedlund hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sebastian Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azemis FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Jansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludvig Strand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludvig Strand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Azemis FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Katrineholm IF:s goal. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Katrineholm IF! Katrineholm IF:s Ludvig Strand showed great skill when he stopped Robin Fernkvist:s penalty. Sebastian Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Strand having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match, Robin Fernkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ludvig Strand was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Dan Åström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sverker Nordmark. Azemis FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Åström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 68 minutes into the game, Olof Caspersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azemis FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Katrineholm IF the free kick. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Azemis FF! Rune Skager shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jansson in the 71st minute of play forced Katrineholm IF's goalkeeper Ludvig Strand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Katrineholm IF's goalkeeper Ludvig Strand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans Svanér's late challenge caught a Azemis FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Svanér helped the player get up and apologised. Hans Svanér scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sverker Nordmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sverker Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Åström in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Azemis FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Caspersson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Azemis FF's Sebastian Jansson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Håkan Springfält struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sverker Nordmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katrineholm IF. When Mathias Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katrineholm IF's protests and gave Mathias Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. Mathias Hedlund hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Katrineholm IF's Ludvig Strand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Katrineholm IF from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Azemis FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Katrineholm IF.
