Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boris Sefastsson made the kick off which started today's match. Katrineholm IF's Ludvig Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Gallin in the 5th minute of play. Boris Sefastsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ludvig Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Skager, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Walter Sundberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludvig Strand. Katrineholm IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Sundberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Linghed getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Stig-Ove Sillén hit a great ball. Linghed's Linus Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Springfält in the 25th minute of play. When Dan Åström came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Katrineholm IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Åström couldn't finish the play. Boris Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Boris Sefastsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katrineholm IF's Ludvig Strand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Katrineholm IF's zone, Elliott Gallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludvig Strand came out of the goal and Elliott Gallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Katrineholm IF's Ragnar Ekelund got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Åström to make the kick off. The supporters of Linghed booed when Katrineholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Skröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Sten Bark sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ludvig Strand skillfully saved the ball. When Linghed's Boris Sefastsson in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katrineholm IF's goalie prevented a goal. Linus Skröder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Svanér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Ove Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Linghed's Linus Skröder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Linghed from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Boris Sefastsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludvig Strand was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. If Boris Sefastsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linus Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Svanér in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Hans Svanér dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Linus Skröder, 1-1. In the 80th minute, Katrineholm IF's Hans Svanér dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Linghed's Stig-Ove Sillén got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludvig Strand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Sefastsson's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Elliott Gallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linghed's Boris Sefastsson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Katrineholm IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
