Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Algot Skark started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Sven-Edvin Hellqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Exelsior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Niklas Sundling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Skark, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fredric Ros came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by STHLM Miami United's Alex Holmberg. But to his dismay, Alex Holmberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fredric Ros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Sven-Edvin Hellqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Niklas Sundling made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, STHLM Miami United's Alex Holmberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredric Ros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Exelsior getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Hellqvist hit a great ball. When Johannes Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STHLM Miami United's protests and gave Johannes Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Johannes Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes STHLM Miami United got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Löfgren. A collision led to Exelsior getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Albin Eriksson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alex Holmberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Ros was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Niklas Sundling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Skark in the 37th minute of play. STHLM Miami United's Alex Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredric Ros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Odín went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 44 played minutes STHLM Miami United got a freekick which was hit by Otto Beckström. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Holmberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Exelsior's Albin Eriksson in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STHLM Miami United's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fredric Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Axel Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Hellqvist in the 64th minute of play forced STHLM Miami United's goalkeeper Niklas Sundling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Alex Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Axel Andersson's late challenge caught a STHLM Miami United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Axel Andersson helped the player get up and apologised. Karl-Axel Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Samuel Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Exelsior got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Jakobsson. STHLM Miami United's Alex Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dale Patten struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fredric Ros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STHLM Miami United. Fredric Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Holmberg in the 82nd minute of play. Alex Holmberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Fredric Ros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Algot Skark took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Sundling. Niklas Sundling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Otto Beckström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Algot Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Exelsior's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Skark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Sundling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
