Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With an all-out effort, Sköndals IK's Fredric Ros threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Malcolm Sikström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 5 played minutes Sköndals IK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Giliusson. After a defensive mix-up in Sköndals IK's zone, Algot Skark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Målare came out of the goal and Algot Skark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Algot Skark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Målare having to interfere. Edgar Målare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Skark in the 12th minute of play. Fredric Ros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Sikström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Termander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Ros having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Exelsior got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Andersson. The supporters of Exelsior booed when Sköndals IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Kling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sköndals IK's zone, Albin Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Målare came out of the goal and Albin Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Malcolm Sikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sköndals IK's Gabriel Termander got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Albin Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Termander got free with Fredric Ros in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Skark in the 36th minute of play forced Sköndals IK's goalkeeper Edgar Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Malcolm Sikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Algot Skark struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Edgar Målare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Exelsior. Gabriel Termander might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredric Ros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Termander ran back to his position shaking his head. If Algot Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Gabriel Termander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Ros having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Algot Skark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Målare. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 67th minute, Gabriel Termander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sköndals IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Edgar Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Skark, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Edgar Målare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Eriksson in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, Sköndals IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Boberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 87thth minute of the game Malcolm Sikström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Exelsior's Fredric Ros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Exelsior's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Sikström came free, but Fredric Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Exelsior had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
