When Adrian Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angels of the North's protests and gave Adrian Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Veinge IK booed when Angels of the North was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Granberg came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Veinge IK's Filiph Bjursell. But to his dismay, Filiph Bjursell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Angels of the North's goalkeeper Gabriel Granberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiph Bjursell. Roland Ålberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Veinge IK's Otto Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Lägdin in the 15th minute of play. Filiph Bjursell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Granberg having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Angels of the North's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Ålberg came free, but Gabriel Granberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Angels of the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Sillén to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Einar Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veinge IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Dahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Ålberg in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Angels of the North's zone, Roland Ålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Granberg came out of the goal and Roland Ålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Fredriksson's late challenge caught a Veinge IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Fredriksson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Felix Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Jonas Lägdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Angels of the North's Wiktor Nyberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gabriel Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Bjursell in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Filiph Bjursell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Granberg. Angels of the North's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiph Bjursell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jonas Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tinglöf having to interfere. When Jonas Lägdin came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Angels of the North fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Lägdin couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Filiph Bjursell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Granberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Tinglöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Veinge IK's Otto Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Fredriksson in the 71st minute of play. Roland Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gabriel Granberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otto Tinglöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Roland Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Granberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiph Bjursell's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Otto Tinglöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Roland Ålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Granberg having to interfere. Roland Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veinge IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Angels of the North for a fine match.
