Ronny Öman charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Öman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Banken getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ronny Öman hit a great ball. Torbjörn Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Veinge IK got a freekick which was hit by Dick Dahlbom. After a rather tough play, Veinge IK's Tony Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. Torbjörn Blomkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otto Tinglöf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Blomkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Torbjörn Blomkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tinglöf having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Marcus Ahlquist flew over the goal. Filiph Bjursell took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Nyman. Ingvar Nyman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Torbjörn Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Öman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tinglöf having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Ålberg in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Veinge IK's zone, Torbjörn Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Tinglöf came out of the goal and Torbjörn Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Roland Ålberg made the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Ålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Banken defense, Filiph Bjursell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Nyman. The Banken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Nyman should have stopped the shot. When Daniel Lindberg fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veinge IK's protests and gave Daniel Lindberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Veinge IK's Daniel Lindberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Banken's Ronny Öman got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Ronny Öman off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Bjursell in the 67th minute of play forced Banken's goalkeeper Ingvar Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Bjursell in the 75th minute of play. Ingvar Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Bjursell in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiph Bjursell in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Nyman saved Banken from getting behind. In the 93rd play minute Torbjörn Blomkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Otto Tinglöf. 2-1. Banken's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Veinge IK had won, even though Banken had held more of the ball.
