In the 7th minute of the match Anton Linquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Holger Modig skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Holger Modig managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Alvins grisgäng's Martin Artal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 14 minutes into the match, Fittja IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Canor came free, but Holger Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Artal in the 15th minute of play forced Fittja IF's goalkeeper Holger Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fittja IF's Holger Modig got control of the ball when Martin Artal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Ingmar Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvins grisgäng's Ulrik Örn shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Holger Modig but with some difficulty. After having played for 21 minutes, Malte Valrot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvins grisgäng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malte Valrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holger Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Holger Modig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Valrot in the 34th minute. Malte Valrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Holger Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Christian Offendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Modig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Artal's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes Fittja IF got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Granqvist. After a defensive mix-up in Fittja IF's zone, Martin Artal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Modig came out of the goal and Martin Artal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the match, Martin Artal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Holger Modig. Fittja IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Artal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Fittja IF booed when Alvins grisgäng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Arne Larsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Martin Artal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Malte Valrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Alvins grisgäng's Malte Valrot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Holger Modig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Artal in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Modig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Münir Dervişoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Fittja IF got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Wallin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Artal in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Modig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Holger Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Martin Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Münir Dervişoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Ruszczyk having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, one of Alvins grisgäng:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jedrzej Ruszczyk had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Malcolm Elg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Martin Artal scored 5-0 in the 100th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Modig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Alvins grisgäng were the better team. Alvins grisgäng's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
