Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Tazengwa United's Freddie Mager started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Silvanito in the 3rd minute of play forced Stora Blå's goalkeeper Gunnar Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Geronimo Silvanito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stora Blå's Gunnar Nordin. Gunnar Nordin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 played minutes Stora Blå got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Strömqvist. Freddie Mager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gunnar Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Gösta Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Silvanito in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Malcolm Gråberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Malm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Geronimo Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvid Benett hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gunnar Nordin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddie Mager's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Freddie Mager left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tazengwa United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tazengwa United's Marcus Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Stora Blå's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Mager came free, but Gunnar Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Tazengwa United were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Gråberg to make the kick off. Geronimo Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gunnar Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stora Blå's zone, Freddie Mager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Nordin came out of the goal and Freddie Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Stora Blå's goalkeeper Gunnar Nordin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Mager. In the 63rd minute Freddie Mager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Stora Blå's Malcolm Gråberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Malm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunnar Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Wennerquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Freddie Mager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Nordin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Gråberg in the 79th minute of play forced Tazengwa United's goalkeeper Edwin Malm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Stora Blå's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Wennerquist came free, but Gunnar Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Mager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Wennerquist struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Gunnar Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tazengwa United. When the final whistle sounded Tazengwa United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stora Blå.
