The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Överman got free with Gunnar Nordin in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Gråberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dag Överman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orsa Sturfajters's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Överman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Nordin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Stora Blå's Gunnar Nordin got control of the ball when Dag Överman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Wiklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Gråberg went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Malcolm Gråberg fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stora Blå's protests and gave Malcolm Gråberg a yellow card for diving instead. Malcolm Gråberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Orsa Sturfajters's Dag Överman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Nordin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With his leg Gunnar Nordin managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Orsa Sturfajters's Dag Överman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute Jan-Olof Strömqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stora Blå's Gunnar Nordin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Stora Blå from getting a goal against them. Jan-Olof Strömqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Dag Överman came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gunnar Nordin could save by the left post. In the 61st minute Dag Överman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Stora Blå's zone, Torbjörn Kollberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Nordin came out of the goal and Torbjörn Kollberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Arvid Benett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orsa Sturfajters's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Jan-Olof Strömqvist scored to the left of an out of position Peter Wiklund, making the score, 4-2. Orsa Sturfajters's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
