After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Christian Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvins grisgäng's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Offendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Tinglöf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Artal in the 23rd minute of play forced Veinge IK's goalkeeper Otto Tinglöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Artal in the 31st minute of the match. Veinge IK's Otto Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Offendahl in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes Veinge IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulrik Örn who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Alvins grisgäng's Ulrik Örn to fire away a dangerous shot which Otto Tinglöf despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Veinge IK's Otto Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Offendahl in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Martin Artal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Tinglöf was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. A collision led to Veinge IK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tomas Bäckman hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Martin Artal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Otto Tinglöf. Malte Valrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Artal to make the kick off. A collision led to Veinge IK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Daniel Lindberg hit a great ball. The Alvins grisgäng fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Alvins grisgäng's Martin Artal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Otto Tinglöf came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvins grisgäng's Malte Valrot. But to his dismay, Malte Valrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Filiph Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Hybbert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otto Tinglöf. Veinge IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ruperto Canor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otto Tinglöf. The goal made the score 0-5. After 83 minutes, Martin Artal made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Veinge IK's Otto Tinglöf tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Alvins grisgäng's Martin Artal in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veinge IK's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Alvins grisgäng could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Veinge IK throughout the match.
