Alvins grisgäng's Jedrzej Ruszczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Blomkvist in the 5th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Bengt Mogren managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Banken's Torbjörn Blomkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Blomkvist in the 15th minute of play forced Alvins grisgäng's goalkeeper Jedrzej Ruszczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Artal scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ingvar Nyman made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Christian Offendahl sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Martin Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Ahlrot during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Ingvar Nyman, was totally fooled by Alvins grisgäng's Ulrik Örn, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 32 minutes into the game, Martin Artal lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Ingvar Nyman. In the 37th minute, Martin Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvins grisgäng:s Jedrzej Ruszczyk showed great skill when he stopped Mikael Harman:s penalty. A collision led to Banken getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Birger Glanselius hit a great ball. Martin Artal charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Artal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alvins grisgäng's Martin Artal in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute, Martin Artal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvins grisgäng fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Offendahl in the 85th minute of play forced Banken's goalkeeper Ingvar Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Banken got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Öman. Ingvar Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Nyman having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Marcus Ahlquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banken and the Alvins grisgäng players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 93 minutes, Christian Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvins grisgäng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Offendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Christian Offendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alvins grisgäng's zone, Joacim Sandell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Ruszczyk came out of the goal and Joacim Sandell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Banken's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
