Ture Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, BAJEN's goal looked a bit too open when Per Lundqvist came free, but Niklas Kvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Kvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Ljungberg in the 14th minute of play. Sivert Bergström might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ture Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Bergström ran back to his position shaking his head. Gösta Smed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sivert Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krister Widberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Magne Ljungberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miata FC and the BAJEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magne Ljungberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Sivert Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match, Jerry Berglund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ture Sandberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th minute Michel Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Michel Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the BAJEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Bergman couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Gösta Smed got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Miata FC's Ture Sandberg got control of the ball when Gösta Smed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sivert Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ture Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ture Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Michel Bergman sent off a good shot on target. Ture Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Bergström in the 70th minute of play. When Jerry Berglund fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAJEN's protests and gave Jerry Berglund a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes BAJEN got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Berglund. A collision led to BAJEN getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gösta Smed hit a great ball. Sivert Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Sandberg having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Jakob Broman made a precise shot to the right of Ture Sandberg. Miata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in BAJEN's zone, Magne Ljungberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Kvist came out of the goal and Magne Ljungberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Per Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Bergman might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ture Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the final whistle sounded BAJEN left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Miata FC.
