Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kyrkbyns IF's John Jelm got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Bernt Örtendahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin Ahlroht. FC Freij's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Örtendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edward Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Edwin Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Freij's Per-Oskar Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Torbjörn Kruse fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kyrkbyns IF's protests and gave Torbjörn Kruse a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kyrkbyns IF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. The tension between the FC Freij and the Kyrkbyns IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kyrkbyns IF booed when FC Freij was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Nykvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Kyrkbyns IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Örtendahl was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Kyrkbyns IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Biörnberg came free, but Mark Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Kyrkbyns IF's David Böcklund got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edwin Ahlroht. In the 91st minute, Kyrkbyns IF's Bernt Örtendahl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The supporters of Kyrkbyns IF booed when FC Freij was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Rang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyrkbyns IF played a much better game than FC Freij and deserved their victory. The FC Freij players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
