Spectators: 6050 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) With a little luck, Chelsea FF's André Westerberg got control of the ball when Vilgot Biörnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Mattias Nykvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Jan Stenman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Wennerberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Westerberg. Chelsea FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea FF's zone, Vilgot Biörnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Westerberg came out of the goal and Vilgot Biörnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Sikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, FC Freij's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Lundström came free, but Edwin Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Chelsea FF's Roger Sikström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin Ahlroht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vilgot Biörnberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Westerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Biörnberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Gunnar Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Ahlroht having to interfere. André Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilgot Biörnberg to make the kick off. André Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Biörnberg in the 52nd minute of play. If Per-Oskar Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, FC Freij's Per-Oskar Olofsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Westerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Per-Oskar Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. André Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Vilgot Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Anders Biörkquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Wennerberg, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vilgot Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. André Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Oskar Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelsea FF's André Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Olofsson in the 72nd minute of play. FC Freij's Edwin Ahlroht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Freij from getting a goal against them. Jonas Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edwin Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Lundström got free with Edwin Ahlroht in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Biörkquist hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Olofsson in the 86th minute of play forced Chelsea FF's goalkeeper André Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chelsea FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chelsea FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
