The supporters of Åsele booed when Babylon Empire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Walter Stenström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ola Thedin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Babylon Empire's Ola Thedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Dalberg in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henric Forssell in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ola Thedin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Simonsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Åsele booed when Babylon Empire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Åsele's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Siöberg came free, but Rune Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Henric Forssell could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Ola Thedin however easily saved by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Babylon Empire's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Simonsson came free, but Ola Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henric Forssell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ola Thedin came out and tried to block the shot, but Henric Forssell slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 69th minute. Henric Forssells short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Ola Thedin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Babylon Empire's Ola Thedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Simonsson in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Babylon Empire defense, Walter Stenström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ola Thedin. The Babylon Empire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ola Thedin should have stopped the shot. After 90 minutes of play, Åsele's Knut Dalberg made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ola Thedin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Henric Forssell took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Ola Thedin to make any attempt to save it.
