Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Simonsson started the match with the kick off. Henric Forssell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Eliasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. John Jelm struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rune Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kyrkbyns IF. Kyrkbyns IF's Peder Harman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Åke Stenman, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, John Jelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Göransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute, Tony Kinell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Biörling kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Åsele getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Karl-Åke Stenman hit a great ball. Carl Ahlgren struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rune Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kyrkbyns IF. If Tobias Simonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Eliasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henric Forssell's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Simonsson in the 45th minute of play forced Kyrkbyns IF's goalkeeper Mark Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Grelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Edward Grelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carl Ahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Göransson having to interfere. Tobias Simonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Eliasson having to interfere. Tobias Simonsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henric Forssell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Mark Eliasson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mark Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Bror Salkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Eliasson having to interfere. With a little luck, Kyrkbyns IF's Mark Eliasson got control of the ball when Henric Forssell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 minutes, Tobias Simonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsele and the Kyrkbyns IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Åsele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes Åsele got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Stenman. Tony Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Kyrkbyns IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
