Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erland Ekström took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Per-Erik Alefors fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunne's protests and gave Per-Erik Alefors a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Sunne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Alefors to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Arne Stenquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sunne's Henry Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mats Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Alefors in the 10th minute of play. Latikberg's Mats Asplund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Alefors in the 12th minute of play. Arne Stenquist hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Alefors in the 17th minute of play forced Latikberg's goalkeeper Mats Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Latikberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. Per-Erik Alefors struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mats Asplund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunne. Alvin Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mats Asplund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Latikberg's Mats Asplund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Alefors in the 23rd minute of play. Charles Nässén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Arne Stenquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Per-Erik Alefors sped through Latikberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mats Asplund. Felix Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Nässén having to interfere. Henry Kellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Asplund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Latikberg got a freekick which was hit by Arne Stenquist. Mats Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Kellbom in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Per-Erik Alefors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Kellbom in the 44th minute of the match. The Latikberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sunne were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Per-Erik Alefors made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Sunne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Kellbom to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sunne's zone, Arne Stenquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Nässén came out of the goal and Arne Stenquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Leif Andreasson made a precise shot to the right of Charles Nässén. Sunne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Latikberg's Mats Asplund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Latikberg from getting a goal against them. If Per-Erik Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Erik Alefors in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Asplund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sunne's Kristian Wikander got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sunne's Henry Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Latikberg's Mats Asplund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Latikberg from getting a goal against them. Henry Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mats Asplund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sunne players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
