Spectators: 7584 (Terracing: 5689, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henning Ekrot kicked off to start the match. Esbjörn Alebom took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Gustavsson. Sebastian Gustavsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ove Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eekeborg IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Bäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Gustavsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Henning Ekrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Åke Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sebastian Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sir United FC's Sebastian Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Ekrot in the 20th minute of play. Sebastian Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Alebom, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Sir United FC's Daniel Dahlqvist got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Hellsing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sebastian Gustavsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Dusett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daniel Dahlqvist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. After 38 played minutes Sir United FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Dahlqvist. Åke Sandberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 47th playminute. After the first half Eekeborg IK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ove Bäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Bäck ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Samuel Dusett made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Gustavsson. Sir United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 61 played minutes Eekeborg IK got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Aragones. Sir United FC were furious when Christoffer Sundström was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Christoffer Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Åke Tidéksson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Eekeborg IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Tidéksson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sir United FC's Ivar Back got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sir United FC's zone, Harald Örnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Gustavsson came out of the goal and Harald Örnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute of the match Eekeborg IK got a corner. Sir United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Åke Tidéksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torbjörn Hellsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Henning Ekrot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Gustavsson was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henning Ekrot in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Gustavsson saved Sir United FC from getting behind. In the 85th minute of the match, Henning Ekrot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Gustavsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sebastian Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Ekrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Samuel Dusett fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Alebom in the 88th minute of play forced Sir United FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Ekrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sebastian Gustavsson made a huge save. Samuel Dusett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henning Ekrot got free with Sebastian Gustavsson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sten Ingvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
