Mejslarna IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Bokelund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 6 minutes of play, Pilsner Locos's Christian Grönlund made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Östman was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Nordal made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jan-Ove Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Freddie Stenqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilsner Locos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mejslarna IF the free kick. Freddie Stenqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Olle Qvarnström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Nordal. Pilsner Locos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 14 played minutes Pilsner Locos got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Bokelund. When Tor Lundin came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Mejslarna IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Lundin couldn't finish the play. Peter Östman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Stenqvist in the 20th minute of the match. Peter Östman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Säv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Mejslarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Qvarnström to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes, Pilsner Locos's Nicklas Fågel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Östman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pilsner Locos reached it. In the 37th match minute, Pilsner Locos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Bokelund to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Hasselqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Nordal having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Mejslarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Säv came free, but Peter Östman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Tor Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mejslarna IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Jonas Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Säv to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tor Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Nordal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Hasselqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Lööf in the 60th minute of play forced Mejslarna IF's goalkeeper Peter Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Jonas Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pilsner Locos's William Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Lundin in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Lundin in the 68th minute of play forced Pilsner Locos's goalkeeper William Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Nordal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Ersman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tor Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Nordal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mejslarna IF's Tor Lundin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Lundin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Nordal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
