Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Lennartsson to make the kick off. Knut Wahlnäs made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Duved BF's Kurt Hernström. In the 56th minute of the match, Jan-Ove Hasselqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wictor Ståhlberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute Victor Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mejslarna IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Böcklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Jan-Ove Hasselqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Wictor Ståhlberg made a huge save.
