In the 5th minute Tor Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Kent Lindmark made a huge save. In the 9th minute Egon Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Berglund in the 10th minute of play forced Mejslarna IF's goalkeeper Peter Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Lindmark came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Mejslarna IF's Jan-Ove Hasselqvist. But to his dismay, Jan-Ove Hasselqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kent Lindmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ove Hasselqvist in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes, Sonny Nord mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hällefors RK and the Mejslarna IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hällefors RK's Sonny Nord got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Hasselqvist got free with Kent Lindmark in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kent Lindmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Lundin in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Berglund in the 21st minute of play forced Mejslarna IF's goalkeeper Peter Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mejslarna IF's Peter Östman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Eckegren in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Ove Hasselqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Kent Lindmark however easily saved by the left post. Peter Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Nord in the 30th minute of play. Hällefors RK's Kent Lindmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Lundin in the 33rd minute of play. Peter Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Eckegren in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Tor Berglund made a precise shot to the right of Peter Östman. Mejslarna IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 40th minute of the match Krister Tidéksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Östman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Tor Berglund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Östman. Mejslarna IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor Berglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Berglund in the 46th minute of play forced Mejslarna IF's goalkeeper Peter Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor Lundin made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Nord got free with Peter Östman in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sonny Nords short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Peter Östman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Hällefors RK's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Lundin came free, but Kent Lindmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes, Hällefors RK's Tor Berglund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Östman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hällefors RK reached it. With a little luck, Mejslarna IF's Peter Östman got control of the ball when Sonny Nord tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Hällefors RK defense, Tor Lundin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Lindmark. The Hällefors RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Lindmark should have stopped the shot. Ronny Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Mejslarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Nord came free, but Peter Östman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Berglund in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Östman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hällefors RK's Kent Lindmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Lundin in the 88th minute of play. Per-Åke Sandell kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Peter Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Berglund in the 93rd minute of play. Despite being the better team, Hällefors RK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
