When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Jack Rydberg took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gert Bergqvist to make any attempt to save it. Ulf Hult scored 3-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Alin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Christian Tomasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekebäck BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Källbrink FK the free kick. After 21 played minutes Ekebäck BK got a freekick which was hit by Christian Tomasson. Mattias Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Hult, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Ekebäck BK got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Bremming. Mikael Söderlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The audience was convinced that Roger Ekman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert Bergqvist was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Robin Carlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Källbrink FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekebäck BK the free kick. Gert Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lindholm in the 87th minute of play. When Roger Ekman came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Källbrink FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Ekman couldn't finish the play. Gert Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Lindholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jack Rydberg scored 5-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gert Bergqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Ulf Hult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekebäck BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
