The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, AIK-BÄST I STAN's Oskar Lööf got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jesper Alströmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Calmare's zone, Oskar Lööf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Bergsten came out of the goal and Oskar Lööf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Oskar Lööf fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK-BÄST I STAN's protests and gave Oskar Lööf a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AIK-BÄST I STAN's Oskar Lööf got a free kick in the 15th minute. FC Calmare's Ingvar Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Alströmer in the 25th minute of play. Ingvar Bergsten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jesper Alströmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Bergsten having to interfere. Dag Månsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingvar Bergsten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Månsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesper Alströmer struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Deckbergh couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes of play, FC Calmare's Kent Strömqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Forss was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Jesper Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK-BÄST I STAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Alströmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oskar Lööf struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ingvar Bergsten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK-BÄST I STAN. AIK-BÄST I STAN's Jesper Alströmer got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AIK-BÄST I STAN were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Calmare to leave the ground with a draw.
