The tension between the AIK-BÄST I STAN and the Bygdeå players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bygdeå booed when AIK-BÄST I STAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sture Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, one of AIK-BÄST I STAN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AIK-BÄST I STAN. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Bygdeå. Sture Beckeman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gunnar Forss. 1-0. A collision led to Bygdeå getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gilbert Kalfhage hit a great ball. Jesper Alströmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Kilberg having to interfere. If Gilbert Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Bygdeå's Börje Fastesson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Andreas Bohlin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gunnar Forss. The goal made the score 3-0. The audience was convinced that Sture Beckeman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Forss was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Gunnar Forss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Bohlin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Kalfhage got free with Gunnar Forss in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bygdeå's Börje Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesper Alströmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ian Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gilbert Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bygdeå's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Kalfhage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Forss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Andreas Bohlin sped through AIK-BÄST I STAN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gunnar Forss.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesper Alströmer was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Bygdeå got a freekick which was hit by Jan Vallin. Alfons Bark made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gilbert Kalfhage immediately put the ball in play. AIK-BÄST I STAN's Gunnar Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Bohlin in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Sture Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bygdeå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sture Beckeman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Bengt-Åke Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes, Arvid Ekeberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK-BÄST I STAN and the Bygdeå players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AIK-BÄST I STAN getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Arvid Ekeberg hit a great ball. Andreas Bohlin took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunnar Forss. Gunnar Forss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ian Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Ekeberg in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Bygdeå getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sture Beckeman hit a great ball. Andreas Bohlin scored 7-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Forss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andreas Bohlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesper Alströmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars-Erik Lindgren got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andreas Bohlin. Gilbert Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Forss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Bohlin's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Andreas Bohlin took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunnar Forss. Gunnar Forss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Bygdeå's Jan Vallin suffered a sore thigh after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arvid Ekeberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Arvid Ekeberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Gilbert Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Forss having to interfere. Bygdeå walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
