Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Gustav Bremming successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustav Bremming made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Torbjörn Smed sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Smycketorgets FF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Bammerman. If Hans Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jag hör Banjo were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Smycketorgets FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peder Stephansson took the corner. The corner ended in Peder Stephansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Smycketorgets FF's Gustav Bremming did a great save. A collision led to Jag hör Banjo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Peder Stephansson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Termander in the 42nd minute of play forced Smycketorgets FF's goalkeeper Gustav Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Gustaf Utfal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jag hör Banjo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smycketorgets FF the free kick. 47 minutes into the game, one of Jag hör Banjo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Smycketorgets FF. Krister Asklund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carl Beck. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Termander to make the kick off.
