After having played for 28 minutes, Jörgen Stigsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skärgårdsstads FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Stigsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Vacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Blomqvist having to interfere. Ture Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Bohlin in the 38th minute of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Pär Bohlin sped through Skärgårdsstads FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ture Blomqvist. Pär Bohlin scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ture Blomqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Jimmys Grabbar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Robert Vacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Vacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredric Örtendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Vacker got free with Ture Blomqvist in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ture Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Skärgårdsstads FF got a freekick which was hit by Egon Lundström. Ture Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Bohlin in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Jimmys Grabbar booed when Skärgårdsstads FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ture Blomqvist didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Robert Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ture Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Vackers short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Ture Blomqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ture Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Christer Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Stigsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Skärgårdsstads FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jimmys Grabbar's performance. The match ended with a win for Jimmys Grabbar.
