In the 6th minute, André Lilja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joacim Ekberg struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Henning Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsunden FF. 20 minutes into the match, Siesta Key FC's goalkeeper Henning Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Jonsson. Jimmy Linberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Ekberg in the 35th minute of play forced Siesta Key FC's goalkeeper Henning Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Åsunden FF got a freekick which was hit by Mats Söderqwist. André Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Skräddare having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joacim Ekberg made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Linus Sandwall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siesta Key FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Sandwall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Åsunden FF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Malte Lövkvist hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, André Lilja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siesta Key FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Lilja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Siesta Key FC's André Lilja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elliot Skräddare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Per Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Henning Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Lilja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Siesta Key FC's zone, Pål Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Josefsson came out of the goal and Pål Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joacim Ekberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliot Skräddare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Sandwall in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Per Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Siesta Key FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsunden FF the free kick. Per Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joacim Ekberg in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Josefsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute André Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joacim Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Josefsson having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
