The Åsunden FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Åsunden FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Sven-Erik Asserlind scored to the left of an out of position Elliot Skräddare, making the score, 1-1. Pål Jonsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torbjörn Willig having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Malte Lövkvist made a precise shot to the right of Torbjörn Willig. Tänndalen BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Pål Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torbjörn Willig was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Tänndalen BF's goal looked a bit too open when Joacim Ekberg came free, but Torbjörn Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joacim Ekberg was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Åsunden FF's Pål Jonsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torbjörn Willig. That made the score 1-4 after 53 minutes of play. 58 minutes into the game, Joacim Ekberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torbjörn Willig. Joacim Ekberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Pål Jonsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Torbjörn Willig could save by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Tänndalen BF's Sven-Erik Asserlind sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elliot Skräddare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Pål Jonsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Torbjörn Willig however easily saved by the left post. Bengt-Åke Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Tänndalen BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tänndalen BF booed when Åsunden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tänndalen BF's Sven-Erik Asserlind got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torbjörn Willig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Lövkvist in the 78th minute. After 82 played minutes Tänndalen BF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Asserlind. In the 83rd minute of the match, Joacim Ekberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torbjörn Willig saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tänndalen BF's Torbjörn Willig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Tänndalen BF from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Tänndalen BF's goal looked a bit too open when Joacim Ekberg came free, but Torbjörn Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Åsunden FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
